(May 7, 2025) – Thirty-five Healey Brothers technicians have achieved the elite designation of Master Technician, a certification that reflects advanced technical skill, years of experience and a deep commitment to excellence in automotive service. These certifications underscore Healey’s ongoing investment to ensure the highest standards of vehicle maintenance, safety and premium customer satisfaction across the Hudson Valley.
Attaining the Master Technician designation reflects years of training, experience and a comprehensive command of the latest advancements in automotive technology. The advanced certifications position master technicians to diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issues and often serve as mentors and leaders within their service teams.

Healey Brothers is proud to recognize the following Master Technicians across its dealership network:
- Poughkeepsie Chevrolet: Tom Gill, George Robinson and Johnny Paraggio.
- Middletown W.S. Chevrolet: Brandon Monroe and Campbell “Larry” Shearer.
These technicians have earned the prestigious GM World Class Technician designation, General Motors’ highest recognition for technical excellence. Fewer than 1,200 technicians nationwide hold this title, which requires passing rigorous certification exams, completing extensive training and demonstrating outstanding diagnostic and repair skills across a range of GM vehicles.
- Poughkeepsie Ford: Aaron Croshier, Robert D. Kanthak Jr., Eric Gentile, Nick Ward, Raymond Schmitz and Wayne Perry.
- Goshen Ford: Steven Lasky and Tyler Brady. In addition, the Goshen location boasts nine Senior Master Technicians: Mike Ortiz, Phil Lewandowski, Darren Decker, Dave Nestor, Henry Nunez, Shaun Barnes, Casey Kiefer, Alex Sibilia and Ruben Rivera. Four technicians, Miguel Ramnath, Bobby Lesko, Rocco Caiazza and Rich Loeffler, have maintained Senior Master Technician status for over a decade, highlighting their long-term dedication and technical expertise in servicing Ford vehicles.
Ford Motor Co.’s Master’s Program, established in 1993, honors the top technical achievements of Ford and Lincoln dealership technicians nationwide. Senior Master Technician is the highest distinction a technician can earn, requiring about 550 hours of training, multiple certification exams and at least five years of experience. To maintain this title, technicians must complete all new required training and electives annually. Healey Brothers’ Senior Master Technicians are among just 459 in the New York region and 8,954 nationwide.
- Healey Kia in Newburgh: Preston Kissinger and Anthony Stevens.
Both technicians hold the title of Kia Platinum Master Technician, the brand’s highest service certification. This recognition is awarded only to technicians who complete advanced Kia training and demonstrate superior performance in diagnostics, repairs and customer care.
- Healey Hyundai in Fishkill, N.Y.: Alex Colandrea, Salvatore Raschilla and Victor Vazquez.
All have achieved elite Hyundai Platinum Master Technician certification, an invitation-only distinction awarded to those who complete Hyundai’s most advanced training and testing program across diagnostics, repairs and service procedures.
- Healey Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Beacon: Tom Shupe and Blass Cherry.
Technicians were recognized with the prestigious “Top Tech” award, an achievement that reflects both technical excellence and a commitment to superior customer service. Eligibility for this distinction requires completion of Level 1 training, all new technology and launch coursework and ongoing monthly Master Technician training. Recipients must also maintain at least 60 returned customer surveys annually and uphold a full year of passing Fixed First Visit scores.
- Healey Mitsubishi in Middletown: Freeman Belcher and Michael Ortiz.
Mitsubishi Motors offers a rigorous Master Technician training program designed to equip technicians with skills and knowledge to expertly diagnose and repair all Mitsubishi vehicles. This comprehensive program includes hands-on, on-the-job training and formal classroom instruction, covering essential areas such as engine repair, electrical systems and advanced technologies including electric vehicles. Earning the title of Master Technician requires several years of dedicated experience, specialized training and certification through Mitsubishi Motors North America. This achievement reflects a technician’s ongoing commitment to excellence, continuous learning and delivering top-tier service to Mitsubishi customers.
