GOSHEN, N.Y. (September 26, 2013) — Elant, the Hudson Valley’s leading provider of senior health and housing solutions, has announced that Elant at Wappingers Falls will be recognized at an upcoming event, hosted by the Mid-Hudson Employment Alliance, for its efforts in creating sustainable employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The National Disability Employment Awareness Month Awards are intended to reward and bring to light the issue of limited employment opportunities for those with disabilities. Elant has been nominated by Tina M. Field of Gateway Community Industries and will receive its award for creating substantial opportunities for disabled individuals.
“We are honored to have been nominated for the award and to be recognized by such a significant organization,” said Todd A. Whitney, president and CEO of Elant. “We’ve consistently emphasized our focus on creating equal opportunities and helping those with limited opportunities to succeed in the workplace.
